Nasser Centre for Science & Technology is seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Mechanical Trainer to join the Industrial Partnership Department. The trainer will primarily deliver theoretical instruction in mechanical engineering subjects and support trainees in developing a strong understanding of mechanical principles, systems, and industrial practices.
• Deliver classroom-based theoretical training in mechanical engineering subjects.
• Explain mechanical principles, systems, maintenance fundamentals, engineering materials, measurements, and technical drawings.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, and assessments in line with the approved curriculum.
• Assess trainees’ knowledge, monitor academic progress, and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Maintain accurate training, attendance, and assessment records.
• Ensure that theoretical content reflects relevant industrial practices and health and safety requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related mechanical discipline.
• Minimum of two years of relevant teaching, training, or industrial experience.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, systems, and equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain mechanical drawings and technical information.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and deliver them clearly to trainees.
• Strong lesson-planning, assessment, classroom-management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
• Good command of English.
