Part-Time Electrical Trainer
Description

Nasser Centre for Science & Technology is seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Electrical Trainer to join the Industrial Partnership Department. The trainer will primarily deliver theoretical instruction in electrical subjects and support trainees in developing a strong understanding of electrical principles, systems, equipment, and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom-based theoretical training in electrical subjects.
• Explain electrical principles, circuits, systems, equipment, installation fundamentals, maintenance concepts, and electrical safety.
• Teach trainees how to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, and assessments in line with the approved curriculum.
• Assess trainees’ knowledge, monitor academic progress, and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Maintain accurate training, attendance, and assessment records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a closely related electrical discipline.
• Minimum of two years of relevant teaching, training, or industrial experience.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, systems, and equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance concepts and safety requirements.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and deliver them clearly to trainees.
• Strong lesson-planning, assessment, classroom-management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
• Good command of English.
