Nasser Centre for Science & Technology is seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Process and Operations Trainer to join the Industrial Partnership Department. The trainer will primarily deliver theoretical instruction in industrial processes and plant operations, helping trainees understand process principles, equipment, operating procedures, control concepts, and industrial safety.
• Deliver classroom-based theoretical training in process and plant operations.
• Explain process fundamentals, operating principles, process equipment, instrumentation basics, process control, and operating procedures.
• Teach trainees how to read and understand basic process diagrams and apply operational troubleshooting concepts.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, and assessments in line with the approved curriculum.
• Assess trainees’ knowledge, monitor academic progress, and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Ensure that theoretical content reflects relevant industrial health, safety, and operational requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Operations, Industrial Operations, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of relevant teaching, training, or industrial experience.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of industrial processes and plant operations.
• Knowledge of process equipment, instrumentation, process control, and operating procedures.
• Ability to read and explain basic process diagrams and operational information.
• Good understanding of process safety and industrial health and safety requirements.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and deliver them clearly to trainees.
• Strong lesson-planning, assessment, classroom-management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
• Good command of English.
